Hua Hin

Hua Hin Thailand a delight of a place

We arrived in Hua Hin after several crazy days of training in the Bangkok, Kanchanaburi and Amphawa areas. So far we’ve enjoyed every moment but haven’t rested at all… how do you say? Exhausted but satisfied, so arriving in this kit city was just in time for some belly-warming experiences, food, and treats.

Hua Hin is the resort town of the hardy Thais from the Bangkok area. It saves them a flight or a boat trip to the islands because it is only a two-hour drive south of the city. There is a beautiful stretch of coastline of about ten kilometers, an impressive white sandy beach and trees touching the sea. The hotels here are of a very high standard, restaurants, shopping malls, a night market, a crazy water park, a gorgeous nature reserve, fishing villages on the water and much more.

We booked the best hotel,Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa,because how much does it cost to get here? Not cheap in Thai terms, but worth every baht, if anything.

This is a 5-star resort on the beach in the best spot in town. On one side is the exotic beach and on the other, across the road, a mall that has everything you need. A short tuk-tuk ride takes you to the night market. A blast. This is the place to be.

We booked two rooms with a connecting door on a high floor, in the main building, with a wonderful view of the sea. We also booked the resort’s perfect breakfast. We settled into the rooms, marveling at the design, cleanliness, space and everything the room offered. A lot.
