Recommendation for Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa Hotel on the island of Rhodes

It’s been two weeks since we returned from our dream vacation in Rhodes and it’s really hard for me to sit down and write you the recommendation because it means I have to accept that the pleasure is over and summarize the eight wonderful days we spent.

We decided to spend the summer of 2017 on vacation in Rhodes, in a place that was not as “messy as Rhodes” and was more luxurious and pampering.
Before I tell you about this crazy place, Mitsis Alila Exclusive Resort and Spa, I’ll tell you how we got there in the first place:
In January I went online to check if there were any summer flights available and was surprised to find flights to the Greek Islands for $200 per person. I immediately purchased a ticket to Rhodes for 8 days.

Then I looked for a luxurious hotel on Booking.com. I trust Booking.com’s ratings. Only those who have booked a hotel through them can write reviews, and they are all verified. I knew in advance that I wouldn’t be able to go for anything wow because of the price, after all, 8 days is double the average vacation. I was surprised when I found a comparable price for the Mitsis Alila Exclusive Resort and Spa hotel, which is what happens when you book six months in advance. Since Booking.com allows you to book now and pay at the hotel, with the option to cancel without penalty, I booked the requested date for us.

In early July we arrived at the hotel located on Faliraki Beach on the island of Rhodes. The drive from Rhodes airport took about twenty minutes.

We got the room, facing the sea, and fainted slightly from the design and beauty of the view. We immediately noticed the treats around us and the thoughtfulness of every detail (free minibar, hot drinks station, bathrobes, slippers, sample toiletries and creams, and even a scale indicating how many kilograms we would gain by the end of the vacation…)

The room is divided into two, the children’s area and the parents’ area, and there is a large sliding door.
In the shower, a bathtub and a shower, each to their own preference.
